On Board Guide We are a family business owning and managing the M/S ODYSSEIA, a daily cruise boat on the island of Lefkada/Greece. Our business exists for over 25 years and is considered as one of the most distinguished in its field. We have an open position for an on board guide in English and Italian Languages. The job consists of • Brief guiding sessions on the microphone of the ship in English and Italian, describing the surrounding islands as well as some pieces of local history and interesting facts to our guests. • Organizing a walking, guided tour in English and Italian of a traditional village and a visit of the local church. • On board barista duties as well as some other minor operational duties during the day Requirements • Fluency in English • Fluency in Italian • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Outgoing character • Previous guiding or similar job experience would be appreciated • Experience in Tourism would be appreciated Job Benefits • Very competitive salary. • Accommodation if required, close to the work location. • Bicycle to circulate. • Health insurance. • Opportunity to work in an outgoing, multicultural and fun environment on board a unique ship, considered as the best in the field. • Opportunity to spend a summer working and living on a beautiful Greek island, surrounded by a paradise complex of islands where our ship is travelling. • Work for a family business with a cozy atmosphere between all of us.
