SENIOR DEVELOPER Duties & Responsibilities • Application Development • Data Warehousing (using business intelligence tools) • Designs and develops Visual basic components from business requirements using object-oriented methodologies. • Creates SQL Stored Procedures and scripts that are needed to support the application. • Responds to and addresses support issues and corrections. • Researches and develops solutions to the problems. • Participates in the development of detailed technical specifications (design documents). • Supports the Development Team Lead to deliver applications according to product specifications and schedule. • Provides Weekly Status Report to Development Team Lead. Required Skills • SQL – Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a must. • Need ability to write queries, import data from files and extract data from file • 2-4 years experience in Microsoft SQL development • Expert in SQL server programming and SQL reporting services • Good knowledge of .NET platform • Exceptional programming skills in an area of need -.Net , C-Sharp • Good knowledge of OLAP and data mining • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools and applications. • Very good communication skills both in English and Greek Desired Skills • Support long working hours on a need basis. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong desire to learn new technologies. Education Requirements • Degree in computers, related field, or equivalent job experience.
