Hospitality Staff – Waiters & Waitresses for Switzerland Hotels, restaurants, resorts, cafés, bars, and other hospitality establishments across Switzerland are seeking motivated, reliable, and service oriented waiters and waitresses to join their teams. Responsibilities may include taking orders, serving food and beverages, preparing dining areas, responding to guest requests, processing payments, and maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and hygiene. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests throughout their visit. Welcome guests, assist with seating, and provide menus or information about available food and beverages. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen or bar. Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to the establishment's service standards. Explain menu items, daily specials, ingredients, and beverages when required. Make recommendations and respond professionally to guest questions and requests. Ensure tables are properly prepared, clean, and organized before, during, and after service. Monitor tables and provide attentive service without unnecessarily interrupting guests. Clear and reset tables efficiently during busy service periods. Check orders for accuracy and ensure guests receive the correct food and beverages. Handle customer payments, cash, card transactions, and bills accurately where required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and service areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety procedures. Coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, supervisors, and other members of the service team. Report guest concerns, incorrect orders, shortages, equipment problems, or other operational issues to the appropriate supervisor. Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and courteous manner at all times. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required. Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service procedures.
