For our Service department, we are looking for a Field Service Technician. This is a job, where you will be present at our customer's sites. YOUR FUNCTION As a Field Service Technician at JM Engineering, you are responsible for installing and maintaining existing machines and solving malfunctions at our customers’ sites. You are often present at our customers, approximately 80% of your working time. During these projects you have a lot of contact with the service team in Barneveld, Netherlands. When you are not on site at customers’ facilities, you work from home. What kind of work can you specifically think of? Installation and/or modification of machines • (Instructing to) load and unload machines and checking deliveries for damage and completeness. • Installing, maintaining and moving new and used machines on customer sites. • Building or modifying a complete (or part of a) machine at the customer's premises using mechanical, electrical and electronic tools. • Assisting the customer in starting up the production line. Repair, inspection and service; • Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions or problems. • Performing preventive maintenance. • Overhaul of machines or machine parts; WHAT DO WE ASK OF YOU? • Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or any other electrical technical services education. • Excellent command of English, a second language is an advantage. • A number of years of work experience in a similar position would be considered an asset. (have you just completed your education, but have not yet gained any experience? We would like to see if we can be of service to each other!) • Knowledge, experience and/or affinity with mechanical engineering and control technology is an advantage. • Driving license. • Military services completed.
